Striving For Superior Information

Dairy Foods, March, 2001 by Joel Iverson

I'd like to take a moment to introduce my elf, as well as Business News Publishing (BNP), the new owners of Dairy Foods. First, me. I've spent the last seven years at Dairy Foods experiencing the changing dynamics of the industry-- from evolving brand marketing to advancing technology and consolidation. It's been an interesting time to be on the sidelines, probably the most dynamic and stressful period that the industry has experienced.

Change involves decisions that usually require access to useful information. Which brings me to Dairy Foods' new owner, Business News Publishing, which recently acquired eight magazine titles from Cahners Publishing including Dairy Foods, Prepared Foods and Food Engineering. BNP, like many dairies, is a family-owned business. Its growth is attributed to a simple company philosophy:

"Helping people succeed in business by giving them superior information."

The acquisition adds to BNP's current 28 titles, most in manufacturing and most the #1 books.

BNP's philosophy will be the benchmark for judging each issue of Dairy Foods. We encourage you to contact us with any suggestions concerning the type of information most helpful to you in making your business decisions.
