Five more plants for NDH

DALLAS and FRANKLIN PARK, III,--It looks like National Dairy Holdings is going to be bigger still when the dust settles from the Suiza/Dean merger. At press time, the two companies still expected to complete the merger prior to first of the year. Five more plants were be divested to resolve regulatory issues and all five were to be sold to Dallas-based National Dairy Holdings.

The fledgling company plans to purchase a total of 11 plants spun off from the merger between the nation's two top fluid processors. The group could soon be operating nearly 30 plants with revenues of more then $2 billion.
