Schepps recognized by restaurant company

Dallas-based Brinker International Inc., which operates the Chili's chain of restaurants recently recognized Schepps Dairy, a Dean Foods Corp., Dallas, with a supplier appreciation award.

"Norman Brinker used Schepps Dairy products in his earlier restaurant ventures dating back to the 1960s, and it wasn't long after he acquired Chili's that we made the switch to Schepps on his enthusiastic recommendation," said Bob Hall, v.p. of purchasing for Brinker. "Naturally, it was a decision that paid off in a big way, because they've been one of our most reliable and valuable business partners for 17 years, always living up to their proud tradition of outstanding service and integrity."

Schepps Dairy has been a fixture of the Dallas business community for more than 60 years. The company produces a wide range of dairy products for more than 6,000 foodservice and retail outlets. A Brinker supplier since 1987, Schepps supplies milk, sour cream and other dairy products to hundreds of Brinker-owned restaurants in the Southwest.
