Rhodia, Madison Wis.--Mark J. Matyazic joins as account development mgr. for the Rhodia Food Group. Based in Irvine, Calif., Matyazic is responsible for serving probiotic accounts throughout North America. He has been in the food industry since 1987, most recently as a regional sales mgr. with the Wright Group.

International Dehydrated Foods Inc., Springfield, Mo.--Bob Hoopingarner promoted to v.p. of sales and marketing for both American Dehydrated Foods, Inc., and International Dehydrated Foods, Inc. He has worked with IDE since 1996, most recently serving as v.p. of sales and marketing.

W.M. Sprinkman Corp., Franksville, Wis.--Pete Marus and Ralph Russotto have been hired to further develop the greater Chicago area markets with the opening of a new office in Orland Park, Ill. Both Marus and Russotto have many years of sales and engineering experience in serving the food, beverage, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

Roche Vitamins Inc., Parsipany, N.J.--Robert C. Bailey appointed Marketing Mgr. Bailey assumes responsibility for promoting Roche's portfolio to the food industry. Bailey comes from Nabisco, where he was responsible for spearheading marketing and sales efforts directed toward the foodservice industry.

Blommer Chocolate Co., Chicago--Lee McConnell appointed v.p. of purchasing, William Dyer appointed v.p. of technical sales and Teve Kline appointed v.p. of west coast sales. McConnell has been at Blommer since 1997, Dyer joined the company in 1995, and Kline was hired in 1985.

Mead & Hunt Inc., Madison, Wis.--Ken Sampson hired as business development specialist for the Food and Dairy Facilities division. Sampson has worked for several major cheese processors including Schreiber Foods and Satori Foods.
