Dairy Foods, April, 2002

Stonyfield Farm, Londonderry, N.H., adds a new flavor combination to its highly successful yo baby [TM] line of refrigerated yogurt. Made with whole milk and six beneficial bacteria, the new six-pack of 4-oz cups contains three blueberry and three apple varieties.

Vernon, Calif.-based Lulu's Dessert Corp., introduces the first Dulce de Leche Gelatin in 5.5-oz single-serve cups. The dessert offers the traditional Latin American dulce de leche flavor in a non-dairy, lowfat, cholesterolfree snack. In the past few years, Americans have come to know and enjoy the dulce de leche flavor through various ice cream offerings.

Double Chocolate and Very Vanilla joined the NesQuik 16-oz single-serve flavored-milk line in February. NesQuik bottled beverages are produced for Nestle USA, Glendale, Calif., at four different extended shelflife plants: HP Hood Inc, Winchester, Va., Ryan Food Co., a Dean Foods Co., Murray, Ky., Stremicks Heritage Foods, Riverside, Calif., and WestFarm Foods, Portland, Ore.
