A recent Dow Jones report on CNN.net noted that the two top soft drink companies have developed remarkably distinct strategies of late. Both are aggressive dealmakers, Dow Joens said, but PepsiCo seems more focused on international deals, while Coke is staying busy in U.S. Last month PepsiCo and its biggest bottler said they were buying the juice business of Russia's Lebedyansky for $1.4 billion.
