As a member of Quality Chekd Dairies Inc., Super Store Industries has won many accolades from the organization over the years, including its prestigious Weber and Gingrich awards. In addition to being honored for its overall operations, SSI has scored victories with its products as well. The most recent honor was announced shortly before DFR's visit in early February: SSI's Sunnyside Farms brand won first place among all QC members for quality in both cultured and ice cream products for 2007. "This is a great achievement and something we should all be proud of," Turlock operations manager Jeff Woodsmall told plant associates in a memo announcing the achievement.
