Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedIRI Provides Data for Dairy
Dairy Foods, May, 2001
When dairy processors consider current market data, either in the pages of Dairy Foods or in association newsletters, odds are the source of the data is Information Resources Inc.
Founded in 1979, Information Re sources Inc. (IRI) uses its InfoScan[R] store tracking service, the industry standard for scanner-based marketing and sales information, to give clients detailed information on sales, share, distribution, pricing and promotion for hundreds of product categories.
Last November the company inked a three-year deal with Dairy Management Inc.[R] (DMI) and the International Dairy Foods Assn. (IDFA) to provide both organizations with scanner-based tracking information for cheese and milk.
