Dreyer's to take ownership of Silhouette Brands

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream Holdings will buy Silhouette Brands, Inc., according to a statement last month from the two companies. Dreyer's, Oakland, Calif., currently distributes the New York City-based Silhouette's Skinny Cow line of better-for-you frozen. Founded in 1994, Silhouette Brands claims to be one of the fastest-growing frozen snack companies in the United States.
