Taro's Robert Carraher, brand division vice president, and marketing manager Donna Livingston reported strong sales of clotrimazole/betamethasone dipropionate cream, supported by direct mail waves to doctors and pharmacists. Carraher said Taro's version of Schering's antifungal/corticosteroid, Lotrisone, already has claimed 50 percent of the market since its May 29 approval.
