Prasco Laboratories entered an agreement with Organon Ireland to market Cesia tablets, an authorized generic oral contraceptive therapeutically equivalent to Organon's Cyclessa

Drug Store News, Sept 27, 2004

Prasco Laboratories entered an agreement with Organon Ireland to market Cesia (desogestrel/ ethinyl estradiol) tablets, an authorized generic oral contraceptive therapeutically equivalent to Organon's Cyclessa. The product packaging has a distinctly "un-generic" look and feel, according to the company.

Prasco and Organon also entered an agreement to market Solia (desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol 0.15 mg/0.03 mg) tablets, an AB-rated generic oral contraceptive equivalent to Organon's branded drug Desogen and Ortho-McNeil's Ortho-Cept.
