NEW YORK -- Novogen has enlisted Cybil Shepherd as the company's spokesperson for the Promensil media campaign. Entitled "Say Yes! To Midlife," the campaign is designed not so much to raise awareness for the Promensil brand as to create a new mindset for a growing consumer audience of female baby boomers facing menopause.

"In a society that wants to make women invisible as they age, women need to make themselves heard," Shepherd said. The campaign-which kicked off earlier this summer and runs through year-end- consists of media appearances, including talk shows, news programs and speaking engagements.

Novogen has teamed Shepherd with New York University School of Medicine professor Lila Nachtigall, M.D., who serves as the campaign's resident female health expert. Nachtigall, who also is director of the NYU Medical Center's Women's Weliness Division of Gynecology, currently is conducting patient trials of Promensil.
