GPhA discusses federally backed generic drug promotion with FDA

> The Generic Pharmaceutical Association met with FDA officials to discuss the development of a public service campaign for the promotion of generic drug use. As much as $250,000 dollars may be spent on the effort, subject to congressional approval. An unnamed GPhA official was quoted in a published report as saying the trade group "hopes to dispel antigeneric drug rhetoric and educate consumers and healthcare professionals about what bioequivalence and bioavailability mean."
