Coke acquires Mad River, respins energy drinks

ATLANTA -- Coca-Cola has acquired the Mad River Co. and its line of juice drinks and enhanced teas. The line of energy enhancing drinks features natural ingredients, such as gingko, ginseng, echinacea, and includes, wild citrus, lemon green tea, red tea, oolong tea with honey, cranberry orange lemon, orange carrot medley and mountain berry.

Coca-Cola began relaunching Mad River last month with a new logo and package design.
