Watson Pharmaceuticals initiated shipments of oxycodone and acetaminophen tablets in 7.5 mg/325 mg and 10 mg/325 mg strengths late last month. Oxycodone/APAP is the generic equivalent to Endo Pharmaceuticals' Percocet tablets and is indicated for the relief of moderate to moderately severe pain.
For the 12 months ended in August, Percocet had sales of about $157 million in those strengths, Watson stated.
