New York—several industry executives were featured on this year's Fortune list of the 50 most powerful women in business

NEW YORK -- Several industry executives were featured on this year's Fortune list of the 50 most powerful women in business.

Ranked No. 1 is Indra Nooyi, PepsiCo chief executive officer. Ranked 10th is Susan Arnold, vice chairwoman, beauty and health for Procter & Gamble. Listed as 34th is Mary Sammons, Rite Aid president and chief executive officer.

Three Wal-Mart executives made the list: Linda Dillman, executive vice president, risk management, benefits, and sustainability (No. 29); Pat Curran, executive vice president, store operations, WalMart Stores (No. 32); and Claire Watts, executive vice president, product development, apparel, and home merchandising, Wal-Mart Stores (No. 45).

Also featured were executives from Kraft Foods, Sara Lee, Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola, Schering-Plough and Eli Lilly.
