Boots to launch U.S. ad campaign

Boots Retail USA, a division of British health and beauty aid retailer Boots Group, is gearing up for a major push stateside and has hired New York ad agency Shepardson Stern & Kaminsky.

Details of the upcoming ad campaign have yet to be ironed out, according to Lorrie King, vice president of marketing and product for Boots Retail USA, but it is expected to launch sometime in 2005.

The 10 lines of health and beauty products, which entered the U.S. market this spring, are sold now in 17 Target stores in Denver and Minneapolis and in 13 CVS stores in Fairfield County, Conn.
