PHILADELPHIA -- The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania recently announced that Carlos Ruiz, pharmacy director at Navarro Discount Pharmacies in Miami, has graduated from the GlaxoSmithKline Executive Management Program for Pharmacy Leaders.
The intensive, week-long management education program is held at the university, is sponsored by the American Pharmacists Association and is funded by GSK.
Ruiz was one of 40 people selected to participate in the program, which provides pharmacy executives with business and management knowledge that is critical to their leadership.
