Par Pharmaceuticals and Elan will develop up to 10 modified-release drugs over the next five years. Under the terms of their agreement, the companies will identify two drug candidates for development at the beginning of each year, commencing in the first quarter of 2002. Elan will develop and manufacture. Par will market, sell and distribute them.
