Personal care appliance manufacturer American Design Group unveiled its Physique-branded hair dryer and curling irons featuring patented electronic, liquid crystal display technology this month at the International Housewares Show in Chicago. Both the hair dryer and curling irons feature a backlit, cobalt blue LCD screen and usage clock/timer.

The hair dryer, which will retail for $39.99 this March, has nine heat settings, an electronic, one-touch cool shot and ionic controls. Curling irons, which are available now in three sizes for $24.99, feature 30 heat settings, 60-second quick heat and automatic shut-off at 60 minutes. ADG also will introduce a nine-SKU line of salon-quality brushes ranging in price from $9.99 to $14.99.
