Upsher-Smith Laboratories introduced two over-the-counter dietary supplements to its product lineup.

Slo-Niacin Polygel Controlled-Release Niacin is backed by clinical studies and uses a polygel controlled-release system to deliver gradual, measured doses of niacin over time. Designed to reduce the incidence of flushing and itching, it is available in 250 mg, 500 mg and 750 mg strengths.

Folgard Folic Acid Complex tablets, containing folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 combination, are an easy-to--swallow dietary supplement providing folic acid complex for a healthy heart.

Slo-Niacin tablets will be supported through direct mail to physicians and pharmacists in the United States and at conventions throughout the year.
