BOISE, Idaho -- Expecting to donate more than $165,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies, Albertson's and Pillsbury held fund-raisers in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Pillsbury Bake-Off event. Throughout February, Albertson's donated a portion of the purchase price of featured Pillsbury products to promote the project. In addition, the Pillsbury Doughboy made visits to Albertson's stores.
"By making this donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters, we have reinforced our commitment to enhancing the lives of our nation's youth," said Jenny Enochson, Albertson's corporate community relations manager.
