Alpharma markets first generic Tretinoin cream

Alpharma's U.S. Pharmaceuticals Division is the first to market a generic Tretinoin Cream 0.025 percent. AB rated to Retin-A (R) Cream from Ortho Pharmaceutical Corp., the Alpharma USPD product is available in both 20-gram and 45gram tubes.

Tretinoin Cream 0.025 percent is a topical medication indicated for the treatment of acne. According to IMS data, the 1998 market for Retin-A (R) Cream 0.025 percent was $39 million.
