Chris Dimos joined Supervalu in June 2006 as part of its acquisition of Albertsons, and he is now in charge of 920 pharmacies across the United States.
Dimos began his career as a nuclear pharmacist before enter ing pharmacy retail, and he most recently served as vice president of pharmacy services for Albertsons. Dimos is also a member of the Dean's Advisory Council at Purdue University's School of Pharmacy and is chairman of the NACDS' Policy Council Work Group on Supply Chain Issues.
Dimos believes the biggest challenge for pharmacies over the next three years will be to "demonstrate the value of pharmaceuticals and the practice of pharmacy to consumers."
