Drug Store News, June 17, 2002

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. -- Similasan will introduce a "highly targeted" ad campaign in the fourth quarter to support the company's new over-the-counter option for earache, Similasan Ear Drops.

In just one year, Similasan Ear Drops have become a leading seller in the ear care category at drug stores and supermarkets across the nation.

The product also fits into the assortment as both an adjunct to antibiotics and a standalone remedy for earache.

Similasan, a Swiss-based company, has gained national distribution for its products in the United States. Its eardrops have been sold at Walgreens, Albertson's, as well as Eckerd and Rite Aid. For more information, call (800) 240-9780.
