Taro Pharmaceutical Industries reported that Taro Pharmaceuticals U.S.A., the company's U.S. subsidiary, has received Food and Drug Administration approval of its ANDA for Clobetasol Propionate emollient cream USP, 0.05% ("Clobetasol E Cream"). The product is a high potency topical corticosteroid indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe dermatologic conditions and bioequivalent to Glaxo Welcome's Temovate emollient cream. The company said it now provides the full line of generic Clobetasol products, including Clobetasol Propionate cream, ointment, gel and topical solution.
