National Association of Chain Drug Stores

Drug Store News, July 11, 2005 by Michael Johnsen

The National Association of Chain Drug Stores last month activated a page on its Web site that tracks current state legislation restricting the sale of over-the-counter decongestants pseudoephedrine and the herbal ingredient ephedrine for all 50 states. The new Web page will be updated as new laws are passed.

This year alone, 24 states have enacted bills restricting the sales of OTC methamphetamine precursor products.
