Southwestern Bell, Motorola debut Personal Phone Series - Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems Inc.; Motorola Inc

Motorola's [MOT] Cellular Subscriber Group introduced a new product in its Personal Phone Series: a cellular phone that also can be used as a cordless phone at home or work. Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems [SBC] will use the phone as part of its FreedomPlus service. With the FreedomPlus service, the phone functions as a cordless phone at home, connects to the FreedomLink wireless PBX for calls at work and connects to the cellular network elsewhere.
