TIA makes exhibiting at international shows easier with electronic exhibits - Telecommunications Industry Association
Mobile Phone News, March 17, 1997
The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) designed an Electronic Market Place program available at all international trade shows where TIA has a USA Pavilon. The marketing program enables companies to communicate with show attendees electronically via "virtual" exhibits. Companies provide TIA with their product information categorized by technology and sales representatives' names and phone numbers in the region where the shows are held.
Show attendees can access this information at TIA's booth once they provide contact information for themselves. TIA plans to debut the program at Telexpo '97 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, March 18-20. Without actually attending these international trade shows like Telexpo, companies can gather information on attendees who show an interest in their products. (Gray Jessup, TIA, 703/907-7736.)
