Caption: Lagunitas Brewing Co. of Petaluma, CA, has released its latest seasonal beer, an "Imperial Cream Ale" called Sirius. The beer is named for Sirius, the dog star, but the name has double meaning for this "serious" ale, with its 1.072 original gravity, 7.6% alcohol by volume, and 40 International Bittering Units. "We brewed this special high-gravity cream ale in serious celebration of the return of the salubrious Spring," the brewery says. The brand will be sold in bottles and on draft as long as supplies last.
