Group attacks sale of beer in C-stores - Pennsylvanians Concerned about Alcohol Problems - Brief Article

Modern Brewery Age, March 8, 2004

A group called "Pennsylvanians Concerned about Alcohol Problems" is opposing new applications for sale of beer in Pennsylvania convenience stores. When the Sheetz Convenience Store in Altoona, PA put in an application for sale of beer, PCAP asked that the Pennsylvania Liquor Board reject the application.

"Beer is not just another beverage to be sold from the refrigerated shelves. It is a product that is dangerous in the hands of children and drivers," said Rev. Don Wert, President of PCAP. "Do not sacrifice safety for profit only."
