Singha North America, Inc., of Redwood City, CA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Boon Rawd Trading International Co., has appointed Steve Landert as Southeastern regional manager. Landert, a 30-year beverage and hospitality industry veteran, will represent 11 states including Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. He is based in Tampa, FL.

As Singha North America's regional manager, Landert will be responsible for sales, inventory, marketing and overall brand development for Singha Beer. He said plans to increase distribution, expand Singha's product line in existing wholesalers, and generate additional regional and national exposure for the Singha brand. Already, he has placed Singha in a warehouse purchasing program in 120 Albertson's in Florida.

Landert was a district manager at Paulaner North America, and was identified as the top district manager in 2002 for sales, orders and earned bonuses. While president of La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill in Denver, Landert established a brand-new franchise. Landert was also Dairy Queen's v.p. of operations for the Central Colorado region.
