Morgan Stanley cuts beverage industry view - Brief Article

Modern Brewery Age, May 13, 2002

Morgan Stanley reported last week that analyst Bill Pecoriello downgraded his view on the beverage industry to "in-line" from "attractive."

Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. and Adolph Coors Co. are trading at or near 52-week highs.

In a research note, Pecoriello said that he sees "attractive tradeoffs within the group."

But Pecoriello said that he would add shares of Anheuser-Busch "only on weakness" and that he maintains a "cautious stance" on Adolph Coors.
