Raleigh, North Carolina, May 4, 2005-Intervolve, Inc. has announced the release of the Intervolve Route Accounting System (RAS). This new software simplifies all critical tasks such as sales order management, inventory management, reconciliation, and route maintenance.
According to the company, early customers have seen beneficial results. The first installation was at Cash Distributing Company, an Anheuser-Busch distributor in Tupelo & Columbus, MS. "Prior to Intervolve's route accounting system, we took an average of three hours to close out a day," said Shanna Kelly, operations manager. "Now closing takes about an hour and on many days just 5-10 minutes."

"The new system is saving us time which means my team has more time to sell beer," said Tim Hale, general sales manager. "My team now has full electronic routebooks and is connected to all other departments with Intervolve's messaging and alerts system."
Intervolve says the system allows on-demand access to information, enabling users to handle multiple tasks.
"The decision to go with Intervolve was simple. They understand our business and turn out the best software in the industry," said Danny Cash, president of Cash Distributing Co. "Intervolve is the first software company I have dealt with that was more a partner than a vendor."
"By partnering with wholesalers and employing the best software engineers, we were able to build the most advanced yet easy to use route accounting system," said Chris Newton, chairman & CEO of Intervolve. "We have over a dozen wholesalers eager to replace their old systems and start optimizing their businesses."
