Caption: "Un-beer-ably Delicious", a book with recipes for cooking with artisan and craft beers, has been published by Dokus Publishing of Arlington, VA. Authored by Guido Deboeck, the book discusses the development of artisan-brewed beers in the Pajotteland, the beer-rich region southwest of Brussels, Belgium, and includes numerous recipes that include beer as a prime ingredient. Deboeck is scion of an old Belgian brewing family, whose family has brewed lambic in Pajotteland for 120 years. "Why cook with beer?" Deboeck asks rhetorically. "Beer is healthy," he says, "and has great nutritional value, to protect against health risks."
