Coors launches big push in Texas market

Coors Brewing Co. is deploying some new weapons in the Texas market, offering Coors Edge low carb alongside the more expensive Aspen Edge low-carb, and rolling out Coors Light in a slim eight-ounce can that looks a bit like a Red Bull.

Next month, Coors will introduce Coors Edge in Dallas-Fort Worth only. Unlike Aspen Edge, which is national, Coors Edge will be sold initially in the one Texas market. The company also says it plans to bolster marketing resources for Coors Light.
