Pimp Juice, described as the brainchild of rap artist Nelly, is the newest entrant into the energy drink segment. Pimp Juice is a non-carbonated, vitamin-enriched drink, intended as a stand-along beverage or as a mixer. "Pimp Juice makes it easier for revelers to party all night long without suffering an energy crash," says a spokesperson for promotional agency Team Lunatic. "Pimp Juice also permits trend-setting club-goers in search of an energy rush to enjoy the beverage without the digestive discomfort that other carbonated drinks may induced." The brand is currently distributed in Chicago and throughout Nelly's home state of Missouri.
