Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedRogue's newest package
Modern Brewery Age, August 25, 2003
Rogue's newest package is a 64-ounce glow-in-the-dark bottle of Dead Guy Ale. The bottle weighs in at six pounds, four ounces. "We're not sure what to call it," says Michele Becker of Rogue. "We could call it Rogue's new fitness tool, because you could build your biceps doing reps with this jug. Or we could call it our new five-pack, but that implies it could be shared with a group, and most Rogues will want this all to themselves." She says the 64-oz. bottle is dedicated to Ed Rose, "the driving force behind the package." Rose is v.p. sales for the Wine Warehouse in Southern California, and Rogue says he has been agitating for a unique package for Dead Guy ale for many years.
