BAA will feature beer garden at NBWA show

Modern Brewery Age, Sept 8, 2003

Following up on the outstanding success of the inaugural Brewers' Association of America Beer Garden, the BAA will once again showcase 20 of its member breweries at the NBWA's 66th Annual Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas, October 12-15, 2003.

"The NBWA Convention is simply the single best opportunity to promote small brewers to wholesalers," according to Daniel Bradford, BAA President. With over 3,000 beer wholesalers from across the country coming together for three days in one place, even that may be an understatement! "This really is a win-win. On one side, small brewers looking to grow their market get unparalleled exposure, and on the other, wholesalers, who are always looking for new and exciting products, get a chance to actually sample new beers and talk with the brewery principals," said Bradford.

Participating BAA breweries this year include:

Alaskan Brewing & Bottling Co., Juneau, AK, Allagash Brewing Co., Portland, ME, Anderson Valley Brewing Co., Boonville, CA August Schell Brewing Co., New Ulm, Minnesota, The Brooklyn Brewery, Brooklyn, New York, The Coastal Extreme Brewing Co., Newport, Rhode Island, The Deschutes Brewery, Bend, Oregon, Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Milton, DE, Flying Dog Brewery, Denver, CO Harpoon Brewery, Boston, MA, Kalamazoo Brewing Co., Kalamazoo, MI, Magic Hat Brewing Co., S. Burlington, VT, New Belgium Brewing Co., Fort Collins, CO, Odell Brewing Co., Fort Collins, CO, Portland Brewing Co., Portland, OR, Stone Brewing Co., San Marcos, CA, Stoudt's Brewing Co., Adamstown, PA, Summit Brewing Co., St. Paul, MN, Uinta Brewing Co., Salt lake city, UT, Victory Brewing Co., Downingtown, PA.

"NBWA is very pleased that the BAA will be participating once again in our upcoming Convention and Trade Show. The BAA Beer Garden is always a popular destination on the Trade Show floor, providing attendees with the opportunity to come together, socialize and enjoy new and unique brews of America's beverage," said NBWA President David Rehr.
