Caption: As reported last week, Carlsberg Breweries A/S has given the Westport, Connecticut-based Bownmont Corporation exclusive rights to import and distribute its Tuborg Gold beer in the US. "We are extremely excited to relaunch Tuborg Gold," said Anne-Line Blanco, Vice President of Bownmont Corporation. "We believe this premium brand with its exceptional quality and value, great brand recognition and its outstanding packaging has excellent potential, especially in light of the fact that historically, Tuborg Gold has sold close to 10 million cases per year in the U.S." Blanco said that the brand will begin national distribution in the fourth quarter.
