Imperial Nut Brown Ale

Modern Brewery Age, Oct 11, 2004

The Tommyknocker Brewery of Idaho Springs, CO, has announced the production of their 10th Anniversary Imperial Nut Brown Ale. According to the company, the "Imperial Nut Brown Ale, although similar to our Maple Nut Brown, is a Bigger, Bolder version, coming in at 10% alcohol by volume." Imperial Nut Brown Ale will be offered in 22oz bottles and Draught, as of November 1st, throughout Colorado.

"Our 10th Anniversary Imperial Nut Brown Ale uses a generous amount of Crystal, Munich and Chocolate malt,." states Steve Indrehus, Head Brewer at Tommyknocker Brewery. "Maple syrup is also added to make up this full-body base profile. The right blend of fresh hops balance, but do not dominate the finishing sweetness and alcohol warmth. Essentially, it's a Big One."
