Caption: Corona is getting into the spirit of Halloween with a new television spot that encourages viewers to celebrate Halloween, Corona style. The 30-second commercial, which features the tagline "Miles Away from Ordinary" launch the week of October 14, and will air through Halloween. The spot opens with a serene beach scene, but quickly turns into a tongue-in-cheek "horror" film.

The Corona bottle and lime "protagonists" are seemingly in danger as a shadowy figure lurks while horror film style music begins to play. Viewers may expect the imminent demise of the Corona, but the final scene reveals a lime wedge being placed in a Corona bottle next to a lime, which has been carved into a smiling "lime o'lantern." The new ad is supported by a $25 million ad buy on syndicated, late night and cable TV.
