Grey Eagle Distributors Chairman Jerry Clinton presents a $121,330 check to Blackstoppers' executive director Hal Richardson. "Tragically, one of the reasons that this year's even raised such a large amount of money is that three police officers and one firefighter died on duty between August and the end of October," Mr. Clinton said. "In each insance, the Backstoppers steppepd in to help the families, just as they have done since the organization was formed in 1959."
