Insight Distribution Systems of Hunt Valley, MD, has announced it is branching out into additional markets with the release of Routepad Anywhere. Known in the beverage industry as an independent vendor for beverage distribution software, Insight is introducing "Routepad Anywhere" into various markets to meet the changing needs of distributors of all types.

Insight says it will make public its next generation of software, Routepad Anywhere, in 2002. The first quarter will see the release of the presale module, with driver-sale and warehouse to follow close behind. According to Insight, Routepad Anywhere software can be used practically anywhere. The program is compatible with Windows 98/2000 and Windows CE. It can be run on a full screen or a quarter screen, so Insight says it will run on an office PC, a laptop computer, the newer brick handhelds, even a Pocket PC. Insight says "Drivers, prosales people, telsell operators and warehouse alike will enjoy its easy-to-use features which include order entry, routeb ook, settlement, survey, physical counts, truck loads, and much more." Insight is a registered reseller for Fujitsu, Symbol, Panasonic, Intermec, and Casio.
