Barton Beers has once again selected a model to represent the brand in the U.S., and appear on the St. Pauli girl poster. For 2004, Iceland native Berglind Icey will adorn the new St. Pauli Girl paster. She will also represent the brand on a national media tour throughout the year. "St. Pauli Girl's longstanding poster program is one of the brand's most popular promotions and we're excited to have Berglind represent us," said Fred Graefenhain, Marketing Vice President for Barton Beers, Ltd.

"We generally have a tough time selecting the St. Pauli Girl, but Berglind's photogenic appeal, outgoing personality, European background and resemblance to the St, Pauli Girl icon on our packaging make her an excellent choice." The 2004 poster features Berglind dressed in an authentic St, Pauli Girl barmaid's oust and holding a tray of St. Pauli Girl beer. Approximately 500,000 St. Pauli Girl poster prints will be available free to consumers starting in February, and a downloadable version will be available on the St. Pauli Girl Beer website.
