Organizers report that this year's Orlando Beer Festival at Universal Orlando's CityWalk, November 10-11, 2001, was a "tremendous success" with more than 8,200 people attending over two days, in comparison to 5,500 over three days last year. Now in its third year, the festival is one of the largest beer festivals in the Southeast.
Sponsored in part by Clear Channel Communications, the Third Annual Orlando Beer Festival featured two days full of beer and ale sampling, live music, entertainment and food provided by many of the restaurants within City Walk. In addition, for the first time at the festival, guests could sample home-brewed beers as well as attend seminars on home-brewing.
