Frontier Airlines has signed a one-year contract with Colorado's Oskar Blues Brewery to carry the company's new canned beer, Dale's Pale Ale, on all Frontier flights.

"We can Dale's Pale Ale so that serious beer lovers can enjoy good beer where they couldn't before," says Dale Katechis, owner of Oskar Blues. "Our alliance with Frontier is a big first step in that quest. And it gives new meaning to the concept of 'flight privileges.'"

"This is a great opportunity for us to put our beer in the hands of people from all over the nation," Katechis says.

Frontier has committed to an initial order of 1,000 cases of Dale's Pale Ale. According to Katechis, Dale's pale is the first canned craft beer in Colorado and the first craft beer ever carried on Frontier flights.

Ellen Depatie, Manager of Crew Services for Frontier says, "Frontier is proud to have Dale's Pale Ale on board. Our passengers get extra value and an added attraction on their flights with Dale's."

Depatie said that that the can package allowed Frontier to carry the beer, and gave the airline a way to offer travelers another facet of Western culture while flying. "It gives people from other parts of the country the chance to experience a Colorado craft beer," Depatie says.

Katechis applauded Frontier's purchasing decision. "Frontier shares our essential philosophy," Katechis says. "They believe seeking adventure and expanding your horizons are the keys to a big life."

Katechis reports that Dale's is brewed with European malts and four strains of American hops. "It features a hoppy, aromatic nose, a malty, hoppy middle and a clean finish," Katechis says. "It is the most full-flavored canned beer in America."
