Caption: The Red Baron flies again, in a triplane made from aluminum beer cars. Tech Plus Products Inc. Of Lewiston, NY, is now offering aircraft models made from the beer can of a customer's choice. The company says it can make any one of 60 model aircraft, everything from a North American P-51 Mustang out of Bud cans, to a Mitsubishi Zero from Sapporo cans. Each model is numbered and hand-built from used, rolled-out aluminum beer or soda cans. The aircraft from the first series include Sopwith Camel, Fokker DR1 Triplane (pictured), Hawker Hurricane, Supermarine Spitfire, Boeing Stearman, North American Texan, Messerschmidt 109, North American P-51, McDonnell Douglas F-18 Hornet and Lockhead P-38 Lightning. Truck models made from cans are also available.
