Sales v.p. Peter Dadzis resigns at Heineken USA

Modern Brewery Age, Feb 14, 2005

Heineken USA has announced that Peter Dadzis, senor vice president of sales, has resigned from the company. Dadzis, a Canadian, has worked for Heineken N.V. for 22 years, and became Heineken USA vice president of sales in 1998.

Mr. Dadzis said he was leaving the company for personal reasons. The company said it tried to interest him in international positions at the general manager level, but he declined.

"All of us were surprised by Peter's decision to step off the career ladder at Heineken," said Frans van der Minne, president of Heineken USA, "[but] the timing makes perfect sense for Peter and his family. He has been a great contributor to the success of Heineken USA, and his skills and leadership will be greatly missed."

Mr. van der Minne called Peter Dadzis "a good friend and valued colleague" and credited him with the successful restructuring of Heineken USA's sales department.
