Corona Mardi Gras promo

Modern Brewery Age, Feb 14, 2005

This February, Barton Beers will provide on-premise accounts with new Corona Extra and Corona Light "Mardi Party" promotional materials. Barton says the turn-key promotion kit is filled with "spicy-hot POS elements sure to bring the look and feel of Bourbon Street to any on-premise establishment." Each kit contains a light-up bead inflatable bottle, as well as "festive Mardi Gras party beads, eye-catching 5'x3' banner, pennant strings and wall tackers." The importer reports that colorful Corona "Mardi Party" t-shirts are also available for purchase. "This Fat Tuesday, retail establishments can spice up their cash registers by creating a whole new look for this storied celebration and letting the good times roll with America's number one selling imported beer family, Corona Extra and Corona Light," said Dan Holmes, National Retail Promotions Manager.

Corona Extra, Corona Light, Modelo Especial, Pacifico and Negra Modelo beers are brewed and bottled by the Grupo Modelo Brewery in Mexico and imported into the western United States by Barton Beers, Ltd. Barton is unit of the Constellation Co.
